For Teachers and Librarians

First of all can I just say a great big shiny thank you!!!!! Reading is the greatest pleasure of my life and anyone who spends their time encouraging kids to read is beyond awesome. Plus, I’ve heard it on very good authority that the Karma Gods look very favorably on anyone who talks about teen books, so don’t be surprised if good things start coming your way very soon!

I live at Noosa on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia so if I can’t get to you, I’m happy to do Q&A via email, Skype or even posting some answers up on YouTube. Though I must warn you that even though I was born in Australia, I have spent a lot of time in New Zealand and England, so along the way I’ve collected a very strange accent!!!!

Also, if you’re in the US and you haven’t stumbled across The Great Scavenger Hunt Contest, then please make sure you check it out. My books are listed there (as are many others) and it is an amazing way to encourage kids to read. All each ‘hunter’ needs to do is download the scavenger hunt sheet they want and answer the questions and hand it into library that has registered with the program. Each month a winner will be chosen and both the hunter and the library in question will win prizes. Easy smeasy!
